Why have you chosen to become a part of Eastside Christian School?
I have chosen to be a part of Eastside Christian School because it gives me a chance to do so many things I love. I get to spend my day with children and share my love of learning and Jesus with them. Who could ask for a better job? Also, my husband and his family grew up at Eastside, I met my husband here and we even got married here at Eastside. It's like coming home.
Who is your most memorable teacher and why?
My most memorable teacher was Mrs. Laurie Underwood Porter. She was an amazing teacher who shared the love of Jesus in so many ways. From her I learned not only about literature, but also about God and His promises. She continues to be an influence on me 37 years later!
