Eastside Christian High School
Equipping the next generation of leaders with excellence, character, and faith
Eastside launched its new high school in 2023-24 with its first 9th grade class. We will continue to expand, adding a grade level each year, with our first senior class graduating in May 2027. This expansion has been a matter of prayer for years, and the Eastside community is excited for the opportunity to invest four more years into its students.
Academic rigor is paired with specialization opportunities and experiences not often found in a school’s beginning stages. Top notch musical theater, STEM, video production, and journalism tracks are offered, along with Bible classes and our one-of-a-kind Principles of Success track. Undergirding each component of our curriculum is the deeply rooted truth that everything we do is to point others to the beauty and grace of Jesus. We exist to equip your students to live a life of worship that seeks to love the Lord, serve others, and find their identity in the truth of Scripture. Details of graduation requirements, scheduling, and the roll out plan are listed below.

Tenets
Dr. Tiffany Stark and Dean of School Jen Gay have a combined 31 years of experience in high school teaching and leadership and saw first hand the need for students to enter adulthood prepared for more than academic success. With that in mind, a key component of our high school curriculum is the Principles of Success track, which focuses on 10 tenets that are integral to living a healthy, God-honoring life through principles that can be put into practice at ECS and beyond.
The tenets are incorporated and addressed throughout all subject areas, with a major instructional focus in our "Principles of Success" high school course track. This curricular pathway includes two courses focused on teaching and applying the tenets in life and culminates with internship courses and opportunities in the 11th and 12th grade years.
The 10 Tenets:
Faith
Mindset
Health/Well-being/Energy
Loving relationships
Financial freedom
Basic life skills
Worthy goals and ideals
Self knowledge and self awareness
Personal fulfillment
Excellence/giving your best/working as unto the Lord
Field Trips
Our high school curriculum incorporates both out-of-state field trips and excursions around our city. These experiences introduce our students to a variety of college campuses during their high school career, give our students opportunities to experience culture and the beauty of our world, and allow students to serve with ministries and organizations that meet a variety of needs.
Fall retreat
The school year begins with our High School Retreat at Camp Glisson. This trip is an opportunity to build community, cast vision, and set a strong foundation for the year ahead.
around the city
An international hub, Atlanta is home to major corporations, key historical landmarks, and nonprofits that are making an impact. In addition to classroom visits from entrepreneurs and missionaries, our students explore a variety of opportunities available to them in both Marietta and around the city. Whether they are hearing about different career paths at a local law firm or medical practice, visiting with the Atlanta Braves marketing team, seeking opportunities that align with their Principles of Success class, or giving back while serving with a local food pantry, our high school students continue to enhance their academic journey and grow in their relationship with Christ throughout the year.
Spring trip
Each year our high school students participate in an out-of-state trip with a capstone trip to Israel during senior year.
Graduation Requirements
Eastside’s curriculum and course offering will provide a college-preparatory foundation that will enable students to excel as they move beyond high school.
