Why have you become a teacher?
As a little girl I didn't want to become a teacher; I wanted to be a nurse! But after spending one summer as a camp counselor, God revealed to me that I was going to be a teacher. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I truly love to see a child's face "light up" when they discover and learn something new. It is a blessing!
Why have you chosen to become a part of ECS?
I chose to become part of Eastside Christian School because I needed a change from a traditional, public school setting. Being able to talk about Jesus and how God connects to what we learn is very important and something I didn't have the opportunity to do in a public setting. I want God to be present in my everyday life — at home and work!
