Why have you become a teacher?
From the time I was a young girl, I wanted to be a teacher. I loved school and wanted to be a part of the teaching profession. My desire was to love and teach children to love school and be the best that God desired for them.
Why have you chosen to become a part of Eastside Christian School?
Once I had taught in a christian school in California, I realized how much more I wanted children to know than the 3 R-s! When Eastside started a school here, I knew that I wanted to be a part from the ground up. This has been God's school since day one, and I want Him to be honored for many more years at ECS. I love teaching the Word of God to children and seeing them come to know the Lord in a real way. I love when I get to pray with them to invite Jesus into their hearts or when they come in and say that they prayed to receive Jesus at home with their parents. This is such a special place and I want it to continue grow for Him.
