Why have you become a teacher?
I love that "light bulb" moment when a student finally understands a concept and is excited about it. There is nothing more exciting to me than the moment when a student says, "Oh, I get it!" I tutored throughout high school and college, and helping students to reach those light bulb moments was so fulfilling to me. I have always loved school, learning, and young people, so the combination of all of those factors made teaching the perfect career for me. Now as the Head of School, I desire to support teachers and students in reaching those light bulb moments every day.
Why have you chosen to become a part of Eastside Christian School?
I love Eastside Christian School to my core. I attended Eastside from 3rd through 8th grade, and I received the most phenomenal academic and spiritual foundation during my time here. I love that the Word of God is central to all that we do. I love that we have such excellence and rigor in our academics. I love that we have an incredible community of students, staff, and parents. I could not be more excited to serve the Lord through this great school!
