Why have you become a teacher?

I enjoy teaching and mentoring and I enjoy STEM, so I am excited to teach engineering at Eastside. For most of my professional career, I have taken advantage of mentoring and teaching opportunities. I have taught college freshmen at Georgia Tech, I teach engineering-related professional education classes, and each summer I take part in a STEM mentor program with local high school students.

If you could spend an afternoon however you desired, what would you do?

I enjoy being outdoors and running. If I had a free afternoon, I would probably look for a local trail for an afternoon escape. I do not run with music or my phone, so I can fully escape all of the day-to-day commotion.
